Driffield group’s tasty new recipe book to raise funds

March 11th 2021

Saint Catherine’s Driffield Support group has come up with a tasty idea to raise funds for patient care – new recipe book!

The book, titled ‘Food for Pleasure, Recipes to Please’, features around 120 homemade recipes courtesy of the support group’s family, friends and hospice staff. There is also a contribution by a Michelin-starred chef and the book’s foreword has been written by Great British Bake Off winner Nancy Birtwhistle.

The group normally raises around £12,000 a year, but has not been able to plan its usual fundraising activities due to the pandemic. The members really wanted to continue their support and came up with the idea for the recipe book.

The book costs £7.99 (or £10 including postage) and is available at Rafters of Driffield and at the Farm Shop at Cranswick, with other outlets around Driffield to be added throughout the easing of lockdown.

You can also order copies by calling Lyn Morris on 01377 270726 or Gill Ullyott on 01377 256511.
