At Saint Catherine’s we are doing everything we can to keep our patients, families, staff , volunteers and supporters safe at this difficult time.
Our key clinical services are still running, which means that patients are still being cared for in the hospice and at home.
However, in line with Government guidance and with safety paramount, we have taken the decision to reduce some face-to-face services and restrict visitors on site. Also, our hospice shops will be closed for the time being and we have postponed all of our fundraising events that were planned during the next few months.
Every decision being made is in the best interests of our patients, families, volunteers and staff.
We need your continued support and help more than ever as we continue to pay and support all our members of staff – we appreciate every donation, every message and every offer of support.

Light Up A Life – Scarborough Service

5th December 2019 - 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Saint Catherine’s ‘Light Up A Life’ service returns again this year and we’d be delighted if you could join us to remember loved ones and support the hospice.

The service at Saint Catherine’s Hospice is on Thursday 5th December from 6pm and is an outside event

Do something truly wonderful and help your local hospice give the greatest gift of all this Christmas.  Help us this festive period to ensure no family is left without our support. The funds raised from this appeal will enable us to continue to provide our amazing care every single day this December, including Christmas Day.

Our Nursing teams are caring for our patients 24/7 either at the hospice or in our patient’s homes providing care when needed most. They would like to thank you for supporting Saint Catherine’s this Christmas and enabling them to continue to our wonderful care across December and on in to the future.

Christmas is always a challenging time for our patients so our catering team who are proud to provide healthy and tasty meals all year round always go that extra mile around the festive season to ensure our patients receive a Christmas dinner to share with their family here in the Hospice.

Your donation this Christmas will help us care for our patients over the festive period

£20 could pay for an in-patient’s meals and refreshments for Christmas day

£50 could pay for the Hospice at Home team to visit a patient in their home

£200 could pay for a patient to attend our Wellbeing Centre for one day
