Hours: 16 hours p/w working, Thursday and Friday 8.00-2.00pm and Saturday 08.00-12.00pm.

Duration of Contract: Permanent

Job Purpose:

This post forms part of the housekeeping team, who provide all of the cleaning and laundry services to the hospice during day time hours.  The job is varied and interesting, and involves regular contact with patients and their families, as well as providing for the needs of the non-patient areas and education centre.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Essential:

  • Cleaning domestic or larger properties
  • Working in or with laundry
  • Able to work with cleaning and laundry equipment and machines                                                                                                                                                                                     

Desirable Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Understand basic Health & Safety
  • Knowledge of the Work of the Hospice
