Our spiritual care co-ordinator at Saint Catherine’s offers support to patients and their families recognising that in times of major illness life can be both challenging and difficult – not only for our patients but also for the people close to them.  Spiritual care provision offers to be alongside people who are striving to cope with all kinds of losses, it incorporates celebrating life, and it has a part in identifying purpose and meaning for life – for some people this is found in a religious faith and if so we can facilitate involvement of local clergy or faith leaders as required.
