Crafty Afty

Meet our lovely Crafty Afty ladies!

Crafty Afty is a session run at Saint Catherine's Day Hospice every Tuesday at 5pm. These ladies are a mix of volunteers and staff from Saint Catherine’s. They meet every week for a ‘knit and natter’ and to share and help each other with their own craft projects.

The ladies have been involved with all kinds of craft projects such as wreath making at Christmas, tea light holder making and jewellery making from coca cola cans!

They also have quite the social life, with afternoon tea at Burton Agnes Hall and dinner out at Scalby Manor every couple of months.

In the near future the ladies are expecting a Needle Felt class to make broaches and flowers.

The Crafty Afty Group are always looking for new talents to come in and do workshops with them as well as new members! Everyone is welcome.

If you would like to get involved please contact Rachel on rachel.jameson-firman@saintcatherines.org.uk
