Salary: FTE £18,365.10      ACTUAL £11,753.66

Hours: 24hrs/week over 4 days, 9.45am-16.15pm (30-minute lunch)

Duration of Contract: Permanent

Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced retail professional to support our busy retail division.

This exciting role is required to work in any of Saint Catherine’s 12 charity shops to provide support covering for the regular Manager.

You will be required to assume operational responsibility, and contribute to the successful running of the designated shop, supported by wonderful volunteers.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • A strong drive to achieve results
  • Flexibility to work any days in any of the Hospice charity shops as per the needs of the business
  • Ability to be able to adapt to different environments and trading styles
  • Innovative and creative
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with the ability to build rapport with people of diverse ages and backgrounds   
  • Able to manage own time well and prioritise workload and manage conflicting priorities
  • Understanding the role of the charity shop
  • IT literate and numerate
  • Able to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service check to obtain satisfactory DBS clearance
  • Full clean driving licence and use of own car to travel to any of our 12 hospice shops
