Saint Catherine’s to hold Volunteer Open Day

Saint Catherine’s is holding a Volunteer Open Day in March – with everyone welcome to come along and find out more.

The drop-in event will take place on Wednesday March 8 from 10am to 3pm at the Education Centre on the hospice site in Throxenby Lane, Scarborough.

There will be chance to speak to staff and volunteers about the opportunities and roles available, such as hospitality, reception, catering, shops and gardening.

Debbie Hilton, staff and volunteer services manager, said: “If you are interested in volunteering at Saint Catherine’s, we would love to see you at our open day. It will be an informal chance to chat to some of our current volunteers, what their role involves and what they enjoy about volunteering. Whatever your skills or however much time you can give, we could have the perfect role for you.”
