At Saint Catherine’s we are doing everything we can to keep our patients, families, staff , volunteers and supporters safe at this difficult time.
Our key clinical services are still running, which means that patients are still being cared for in the hospice and at home.
However, in line with Government guidance and with safety paramount, we have taken the decision to reduce some face-to-face services and restrict visitors on site.
Every decision being made is in the best interests of our patients, families, volunteers and staff.

Please note – PPE levels and visiting guidelines are constantly under review and may change at short notice.

UPDATE: 19/7/2021 Wearing a face mask and other PPE as directed during your visit remains a condition of your visit. The only exemption is if you are exempt from wearing a face mask.

During this difficult time we are taking all the measures we can to ensure that our patients, visitors and staff are all as safe as possible whilst at the hospice.

Registration and Testing

Before your visit, you can complete our visitor registration form online. This will help speed up the process when you arrive.

We also strongly advise that all visitors take a lateral flow test within the 24 hours prior to visiting Saint Catherine’s. Tests can be ordered free of charge online at or picked up for free from pharmacies. If you have difficulty getting a test, please let us know and we will be happy to help.
