We need to raise £5.5m a year to enable us to deliver patient care. When it comes to fundraising, the possibilities are endless: be as inventive and imaginative as you like!
We rely on the tireless work and generosity of our community to continue to offer our essential services. We can’t raise the money and continue to provide our care without your help. There are lots of way to fundraise for us.
Our Fundraising Pack has lots of different ideas on how you can raise funds for patient care.
Deciding on your fundraising idea
What interests you and your group of fundraisers? What are you good at? What would inspire or even shock people who know you? What locations and venues could you use? All these questions can influence your choice of fundraising activity.
If you are struggling, here are a few suggestions…
Arts and crafts fair, art exhibition, auction, balloon race, barbecue, book sale, bad hair day, baked bean bath, cheese and wine party, cake sale, disco, duck race, dinner dance, Easter egg hunt, fashion show, football match, film festival, garage sale, golf tournament, Halloween party, jumble sale, make up demonstration, murder mystery evening, pet show, ploughing competition, raffle, raft race, shave your head, wine tasting, wedding favours.

Top Tips
Plan your fundraising and account for every problem that may occur.
Tell everyone. Use word of mouth, social media and local media such as newspapers and radio stations.
Make a list of the friends, family and colleagues you will be targeting for donations or sponsorship.
Talk to your employer. Some companies offer matched funding.
Create an online page for sponsors to donate easily. You can create a JustGiving page here. If you need some help with this you can contact our fundraising department.

Sponsor a Day
Sponsoring a Day with a gift of £11,000 will allow us to continue to deliver our services for another 24 hours.
By supporting a day of care, you can help patients and their families receive the support they need through a challenging and difficult time.
You can choose any day that is special or significant to you. You can make a single donation or fundraise as a group.
Sponsoring a Day will allow us to continue to offer patient and family care to the people in your community. If you decide to pay for a day at Saint Catherine’s we know the day you choose might be special and meaningful. It could be a birthday, anniversary or a memory to mark a milestone important to your friends, family, staff or team. Whichever day you choose and for whatever reason, your support will mean that we can continue to deliver outstanding care and support in your local area.
Saint Catherine’s offers over sixteen different services across a 1,600 square mile radius every year to the patients and their families. All of our Hospice services are free of charge but Saint Catherine’s must raise £11,000 a day to provide them. A day of your support will allow us to continue to offer our vital care.
