Saint Catherine’s Bunny Run

Saint Catherine’s is delighted to invite local schools to take part in our fun and friendly Bunny Run, a sponsored activity designed to get pupils moving, smiling and supporting local hospice care.

The Bunny Run will take place throughout March 2026, starting on Monday 2nd March, with all runs completed by Friday 27th March 2026. Schools can choose a date, time and location that works best for them during this period.

How It Works

Pupils can run, jog, walk or hop — it’s completely up to you! The Bunny Run can take place in a playground, sports hall, field or even a local park. Schools are encouraged to get creative, whether that’s setting up a simple route, adding obstacles, or turning it into a whole-school celebration.

The focus is on fun, participation and teamwork, making it suitable for all ages and abilities.

What We’ll Provide

To help make your Bunny Run a success, Saint Catherine’s will provide schools with downloadable templates, including:

• Bunny ears – For pupils to wear on the day.
• Event poster – To promote your Bunny Run within the school.
• Information for parents and carers – Explaining who Saint Catherine’s are, about the event and why they should support us.
• Sponsorship form – To help pupils raise funds.
• Prizes – At each participating school, the pupil who raises the most sponsorship will receive a special prize from Saint Catherine’s.

More Than Just a Run

As well as being a fun physical activity, the Bunny Run offers pupils the chance to learn about the important work of Saint Catherine’s Hospice and how fundraising helps support people at some of the most difficult times in their lives.
