Making a one-off donation online is an easy way to support Saint Catherine’s today and make a difference for those who live in our area with a terminal illness. One off donations are a great way of showing your appreciation for the work that Saint Catherine’s does in our local area.

Your support can make a huge difference, there is no upper or lower limit to donations and every pound donated really does count.

Becoming a Friend of Saint Catherine’s through regular giving is one of the most meaningful ways you can help. Your kind, ongoing support allows us to care for people today, while making sure we’re always here for those who will need us tomorrow.

By giving regularly as part of Friends of Saint Catherine’s, you’re standing alongside families at some of the most important moments in their lives. Your generosity helps us plan with confidence, sustain our vital services, and continue offering compassionate care, whenever it’s needed most.

Set up a Regular Donation

If you prefer, you may also make your donation by cheque, payable to Saint Catherine’s Hospice, or by cash, which can be handed in at our main reception on Throxenby Lane in Scarborough. Our team will ensure that your contribution is recorded safely and acknowledged with gratitude, and they are always happy to answer any questions you may have about the donation process.

Our Finance team is also able to process one off donations over the phone. Simply call 01723 351421 and a member of the team will be happy to assist you, guide you through the steps and offer any further information you might need to support Saint Catherine’s in the way that feels right for you.

Make a Difference Locally

Your gift helps us care for local people and families when they need us most.

We provide compassionate and patient centred care both at the hospice and out in the community. We support patients, their carers and their loved ones in the way that suits them best, and we aim to do this with dignity, respect and understanding at all times. Our care is shaped around each individual and is delivered in a way that reflects our commitment to openness and honesty.

Saint Catherines is based in Scarborough but our care reaches across one thousand six hundred square miles of North and East Yorkshire. This allows us to support people living in towns, villages and rural communities so that anyone who needs our specialist care can receive it.

Most of our services are offered free of charge because we believe that everyone should have access to high quality care regardless of their circumstances. To continue providing this essential support we need to raise six point two million pounds each year. This income allows us to fund clinical care, specialist nursing, emotional support and bereavement services for families.

We aim to make sure that anyone choosing to support us has clear and accurate information so that they can make an informed decision about donating. We do not put pressure on anyone to give and we respect all choices. Any donation, of any amount, will help us continue providing comfort, dignity and expert care to people in our community who need us.
