Open to everyone, Flavours is a welcoming bistro located on-site at Saint Catherine’s, serving freshly prepared breakfasts, lunches, homemade cakes and great coffee in a relaxed setting. Whether you’re meeting friends, enjoying a family lunch, stopping by after a walk or celebrating a special occasion, you’ll always receive a warm welcome.

Led by Head Chef Jon Smith, every dish is thoughtfully prepared using quality ingredients and inspired by flavours from around the world.

Even better, every meal enjoyed at Flavours helps contribute towards the work of Saint Catherine’s, making every visit one that gives something back.

Meet Head Chef Jon Smith

At the heart of Flavours Bistro is Head Chef Jon Smith, whose passion for great food and warm hospitality is reflected in every dish. With decades of culinary experience, Jon has owned and led successful restaurants across the UK and abroad, including the much-loved Peppers in Scarborough, before spending nine years as Head Chef at The Plough in Scalby. Throughout his career he has cooked for royalty, including Queen Elizabeth II, but what inspires him most is creating food that brings people together. His vision for Flavours is simple: to create a vibrant community hub where everyone can enjoy exceptional food in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Relax and unwind

Flavours Bistro offers more than just great food. Inside you’ll find a bright, welcoming dining space that’s perfect for catching up with friends, informal meetings or simply taking some time out. When the weather is warm, enjoy your meal in one of our two outdoor seating areas. Our peaceful courtyard, surrounded by beautiful planting, offers a tranquil place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or coffee, while our front terrace provides another sunny spot to sit and relax. Simply order inside, collect your buzzer and we’ll let you know when your food is ready. We’re also delighted to welcome four-legged visitors, with dog-friendly outdoor seating available.

Supper Club

Join us each month for a delicious 3-course menu inspired by a different cuisine from around the world. From traditional favourites to exciting new flavours, every month offers a unique dining experience to enjoy with family and friends.

Tables are available between 6:30pm and 7:30pm and must be booked in advance. £35 per person
