Saint Catherine’s Make a Will Week is back!

Now extended to two weeks!

Saint Catherine’s Make a Will Week is back – and has been extended to a fortnight due to popular demand!

The event will take place from 1st – 14th June 2026 and is supported by local solicitors who kindly give their time for free. If you’ve not yet made a will – like around 50% of adults in the UK – you could get one drawn up while helping Saint Catherine’s at the same time. Participating solicitors will prepare a simple will for a suggested minimum donation of £250, or £400 for a matching pair. The campaign has raised tens of thousands of pounds over the years to support patient care.

Susan, Saint Catherine’s Fundraising Operations Coordinator, said: “We have listened to feedback from both solicitors and our supporters, who asked for a longer window of opportunity for appointments. We hope that by going from a week to a fortnight we can help more people than ever.”

You can book appointments with participating solicitors in Scarborough, Filey, Whitby, Malton, Pickering, Bridlington and Driffield. Appointments must take place between Monday 1st June and Friday 12th June 2026 (weekdays only). Please mention Saint Catherine’s Make a Will Week when booking.
