Discover Our New Digital Inclusion Service

Saint Catherine’s team up with libraries to deliver digital inclusion service

Saint Catherine’s is working on a new project with local libraries to help deliver digital services and support to the community.

The friendly, informal, new Digital Inclusion services are free of charge and include support for any technology questions. There’s also an opportunity to use different technology, including phones, tablets, laptops and Chromebooks, all within a welcoming space to ask questions, learn new skills and enjoy a chat.

Emma Warley, from Saint Catherine’s, said:

“Technology can open up a world of connection, entertainment and independence, but it can also feel overwhelming. Our friendly Digital Inclusion Service helps you gain confidence using digital devices in a relaxed, supportive environment. Whether you’d like to video call loved ones, manage online appointments, or simply understand your device better, our team is here to help you take the next step at your own pace.”

There is no need to book — just drop in and ask for advice on anything digital or technology-related. This project has been funded by York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority through the UK government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund and is free to attend.
