Course Overview
This 2-day comprehensive Person-Centred Palliative Care training is designed for non-registered health and social care workers who support
patients with life limiting conditions. The course focuses on a person-centred compassionate approach to end-of-life care.

Topics Covered

• Understanding Palliative Care Principles, Communication and Holistic Person-Centred Approaches.
• Recognising Signs & Symptoms of End-of-life: Physical, Emotional, Psychological and Spiritual Indicators.
• Care in the Last Days of Life: Symptom Management, Comfort Measures, Supporting Families, and Teamwork.
• Dignified Care After Death, Cultural Considerations, and Supporting Bereaved Families.
• Reflective Practice & Self-Care for Staff.
